A vacation fundraising insight that lasts year round

Jon and I just returned from a week’s vacation in Prince Edward Island with a few stops in New Brunswick, Canada. (We had a great time. Just loved it. And were very impressed with all the Canadian hospitality we encountered.)

As we came off the Confederation Bridge, we stopped briefly at the friendly and helpful Cape Jourimain Nature Centre to get directions.

My immediate assumption was that this was a government facility. I learned I was mistaken when I saw this sign in the washroom. Very smart of this charitable nonprofit to let me know who was helping me.

And to not be shy about making the ask — in a place where they had my full attention.
