Roses are red
Violets are blue
You make the world shine

If, like me, you are not a naturally whimsical person, you’ll need to work hard to incorporate celebration and opportunities for expressing joy into your work. But when you do, it will be worth it. I just stumbled onto Change.org. I’m sure my readers know more about this than I do, but they’ve got an online fundraising tool that allows your supporters to set up their own fundraising pages. Right now, they are also running “Ideas for Change in America” which is recruiting ideas online to submit to the Obama administration on how we can improve just about every aspect of our lives. Thanks to colleague Don Griesmann for the heads up. Check it out.
For everyone who has sat through a retreat, and because today was the day of her birth, a quote from Emily Post
“Ideal conversation must be an exchange of thought, and not, as many of those who worry most about their shortcomings believe, an eloquent exhibition of wit or oratory.”
