Jonathan Howard believes that communications succeed when your audiences respond in ways that help your organization to achieve its mission.
Communication begins by thinking about your purpose and your audience. In a vast world of messages, your story must be truthful, well told and precisely targeted if it has any chance of creating change.
Jon brings broad experience as a writer and project manager to your challenges. His work includes annual reports, brochures and other printed materials, web content, exhibits and video. Until 1994 he was Communications Coordinator at PLAN International’s global headquarters, with responsibility for internal communications to a worldwide, multilingual staff and for providing video, photography and story materials from more than 30 program countries to fundraising affiliates in Europe, Asia and North America.
In 1994, he founded Jon Howard Strategic Communications and in 1996, he joined Gayle in creating Cause & Effect, Inc. He has worked on assignments in Latin America, Eastern Europe, Japan, Turkey and other countries.
